You let your gaze hang on the Reverend for a brief pause before you begin to stand up and hold the wound in your arm as you walk toward the bathroom.

“Not quite yet.”

The Reverend reaches out and grabs you by the shoulder before you can pass by. You stop and close your eyes, letting out a short breath as you stand in front of him and his daughter completely naked. You notice Claire take a glimpse at your waist before she looks away and quietly kisses the cross hanging from her necklace.

“Please,” the Reverend lowers his head and lifts his brow.

“Tell her what you’ve done.”
